  • Obviously NO ONE likes going to the DMV for anything. Especially after waiting a couple hours and if you have to come back because you forgot a couple documents at home and need to come back, however, that's beside the point. Like any DMV, there are peak hours and non. I have yet to figure those out, but lunch time was a 2 hr wait for me previously, while the last time I came around 4:30 was about an hour wait. (They close at 5pm during the weekdays, so you can come inside and stay even though they've shy the doors. You Cannot leave and come back after they lock their doors). Parking: train wreck. The front has very limited parking and not very much space. There is more parking in the back, however, things do get Very busy and packed that you may have to circle around and stalk people headed to their cars. Service: This DMV in particular has a pretty good system as opposed to other DMVs I'd been to. Once you enter, you go to the first line. This first line puts you through to the main general desk where you tell them what you're there for. Then they input you into the system with your phone number (*HAVE YOUR PHONE ON YOU), and send that info to the portion of the DMV that can help you. Take a seat and wait your turn. They announce when it is your turn and which numbered stall to head to with your "number" as your last 4digits of your cell phone number. I like this because you can also check your status and they alert you through text message as well, in case you aren't paying attention to the speakers!
