  • Cosmos was recommended to me by a co-worker, so when it was my turn to visit Charlotte for a week I made my way there. I'm happy I did! The place is modern yet unpretentious and the wait staff is friendly. On Friday nights all wine glasses are $4 - what a deal - so I had two Reislings. I started with a bowl of the tomato and red pepper bisque which was really delicious but very small for a "bowl." I would have considered it a cup. For my main course I ordered the Curried Mussels - really, really good! I was impressed with the amount - there were a lot of empty shells by the time I was done! The only issue I had with the entree is that after a couple minutes I realized I didn't get the side of rice that was supposed to come with the dish, but when I alerted the waitress of it she was very apologetic and came back right away with it. It was great to soak up the extra sauce with :-p I heard there was salsa dancing on certain nights but I'm not sure when (not dinner time on a Friday night obviously). Good food, good service. I'd go back!
