| - I grew up in Cuyahoga Falls so I grew up going to concerts at Blossom Music Center since I was a teenager.....It is still a special place that is still one of the finest venues to see an outdoor show...This past week I saw 2 shows @ BMC....Jack Johnson and Zak Brown Band....I will review my experiences at both shows...I will start by saying I sat in the lawn during both shows, still a big fan of grabbing your blanket, spreading it on on the lawn and chilling to a show at Blossom....The Jack show did not disappoint, great night to see a show, crowd was chill yet fun and the night was beautiful...got to the show over an hour before and as you have read on other reviews parking can be a bit of a schlep!!! they often do park you about a mile away from the venue and force you to walk, definitely tough if you are wearing flip flops, wear your athletic or comfortable shoes if you don't plan to pay for parking...you can buy a season pass and pay to park and get closer, however I usually just park in the lots in the lawn...exiting Blossom is hit and miss, pretty much parked in the same area for both shows, during the Jack show I literally got out of the lot in about 10 minutes!! it was delightful....during ZBB it was a nightmare, literally didn't move for over an hour, spent 1hour and 20 minutes before we had exited the lot...The ZBB concert again was a great night, the show was cut short due to a storm that hit the area about 1030, it caused the show to be cut short and included no encore....show was still bomb, but exiting the show with everyone racing to their cars in a torrential downpour, not the most enjoyable experience....luckily had a dry shirt in the car, not sure many people made it out of the show dry, but again, this can happen when you are at an outside venue...despite the parking and weather, still highly recommend going to Blossom, it is definitely a destination venue and takes me back to the days when life was much simpler....enjoy the venue and your shows.....: )))
