rev:text	I wanted to take a good friend of mine to a nice and unique restaurant for her birthday and I found that here! A couple of my friends and I went last weekend. The hostess was sweet and accommodating. I asked if they had the flamingo dancers still performing (which is a big reason why I came here ) so she sat us at a table with a view of the stage. The stage is placed in kind of an awkward corner. If a view of the stage is important to you then definitely put a request before hand. We were lucky since there was one table left with that view. The place was packed until about 9 so I would recommend making reservations too. The server recommend the sparkling sangria which was a hit! We tried a few tapas style dishes which tasted great! The meatballs were possibly my favorite! The flavor and softness was amazingness. The patatas bravas was also delicious and made with a great sauce. We got a random dish that looked like a vegetarian pot pie. We eventually realized we didn't order this dish but we figured eh let's try something new. It was alright. As for dessert, the creme brulee was wonderful! For my friend's birthday they brought out the flan with a sparkler as the candle which was sweet and fun! The food was overall good. The slow service was another thing. We ended up being late for a movie and at this point of the evening the restaurant wasn't busy. Overall I would love to come back and def recommend this place. I will probably come when it's cooler to enjoy the patio along the canal. It's also pretty pricey so next visit would have to be for a special occasion too.
