| - I used to live in a neighborhood a couple years ago, and Quoi de n'oeuf was my favorite breakfast restaurant.
I went back recently, and I was disappointed. I took a classic eggs benedict. The eggs were good, well cooked, the sauce was nice, the potatoes were tasty.
So why the 3 stars, A-OK note? Because of the size of the plate. For this price (almost $20 with tip, for one person), it was quite small. Not a whole lot of potatoes, and the only fruits you get is a a half-slice of orange and a small piece of melon. For the same price, other restaurants will have much bigger plates with more fruits.
The included filter coffee was fine but I would have liked if they let the milk basket on the table. I don't want to ask for extra milkettes whenever they re-heat my cup.
Service was ok. Maybe it was not a good day for the waiter, but it was not particularly friendly.
So its not that the food is not good, it is, but the value isn't there. Which is a shame, because I used to love this place.
