Why do we go to dealerships to have regular maintenance done on our cars? I ask myself this question every time I pull in to this dealership! I had such a "great" experience with Honda dealerships that I thought Nissan would try as hard. Wrong.
I made an appointment for an oil change because I had some warranty work to get done. I have noticed that in the past when you drive up to the service windows the service advisers hide on the phone! They make you wait 10 -15 minutes "pinky swear" until they acknowledge you. "Oh yes, why are you here?" "Do you have an appointment?" It happens to me every time I go and this really gets me off to a bad start. Hey my time is valuable too. They try to upsell everything. Time before last they got me with "your battery needs replaced" line. I should have gone to O'Reily to have them check it. But when is 120 degrees you agree to replace it. Did you know that at "new car" battery has a 2 year warranty? Maybe that is an Arizona thing. But the purchase of a "new" battery has a 3 year warranty. Continuing on with the story
One hour to change the oil. Of course I need an air filter that is not included in the over priced oil change. No thanks. ($27.99 for just an oil filer...go to O'Reily. $8.95 and they put it in for you.)Take my advise and take it somewhere else. I have a tire that is missing an air cap and no one replaces it. Must I really ask? The model of car I have has an faulty senser on the tire pressure, but they will not replace it. Soon as the warranty is up I'm sure they will suggest it be replace.
One more thing. If you reposition my drivers seat so you can safely drive my car from point A to point B please have the courtesy to put in back upon return.
I love how on the way out they say. Well how did we do. I need you to give me a good report card when they call.
Here are my words for you to remember HONDA
