This place is cute, no doubt. Inside is quaint but rather noisy, outside is much more romantic and quiet, where you'll find a fireplace, really uncomfortable chairs that may leave a weird pattern of lines on your bare legs, and candlelight. We choose to sit outside.
We started the evening with the Caprese salad. It was good. Nothing more, nothing less, I probably won't remember it tomorrow. Then came our two individual pizzas, don't ask me why we ordered two... These pizzas are huge and one can certainly feed two people.
Presentation was great. I ordered the Dame Edna which was covered in a large mound of arugula and shaved cheese. It was dry, so dry I kept finding myself reaching for my water cup. What saved this pizza was the Prosciutto. I am a sucker for Prosciutto.
My date's pizza was definitely the better of the two. The Sofia pizza, with smoked Mozzarella and Prosciutto. Yum. The flavors were great and I felt a little pinch of jealousy every time he took a bite.... Hmgh
Service was good, ambiance good, prices were fine. I wasn't wowed or disappointed, though I probably won't go back. Not because I didn't like it, just because there are so many other places I like better.
