| - I would not even give it 1 star if i didn't have to. I was told that they contacted my insurance and that they approved a root canal. My share of cost was to be about $300. I paid this in full. When it came time to do the work, they determined I didn't even need the root canal, but I still needed the crown. A week after they did the work, I got a call telling me that my insurance only paid for crowns after a year on the job. They wanted me to pay another $350!!! I don't believe I should have to pay that, since they told me that my insurance had approved the payment originally. What I think happened is they never really had an approval and just assumed the approved amount! In either event, I actually didn't even have any pain, and had I known that it wasn't covered for a year, I would have made the choice to wait another 6 months before I had the work done. They tried to say they would split it with me, and I would have to pay $175, and they would let it go. I disagree. They made the error. Why should I have to pay?!? Then, I didn't hear anything until a week ago. It was time for my appointment. They phoned and texted me 16 times. I was surprised, but I did want my teeth cleaned. So I rearranged my schedule at work and showed up. And of course they told me they couldn't see me because my account was sent to collections. I never even got a piece of mail from them. THIS PLACE SUCKS.
