One star is for the instructors. I have spent nearly $800 at FSY since March to include unlimited cycle, $30 a month online early booking (which rarely even worked), shoe rental, the occasional $4 smart waters, and countless $10 late cancellation fees due to the unpredictability of having 2 children under the age of 1.5 years old. Up until 2 days ago I would have recommended this gym. I now feel cheated and like my business was not valued at all. They hid their cancellation policy in their introductory FB deal. If you choose to sign up for a monthly membership after the intro they will attempt to penalize you with 2 months of charges if you try to cancel because they don't actually cover their cancellation policy when you actually commit to a membership. I actually had to end the call with the manager because they were trying to convince me that I was wrong to feeling cheated and stolen from. I was given the option to either be refunded for the July charge and freeze my account for $10 per month for 3 months and then continue paying the monthly charges or be waived the $140 charge I was on the hook for for August and not be refunded for this month's unwanted charge. I chose the latter and let them know that I am doing so because I had no interest in doing business with them in the future. I let them know that it is their business and they can do what they want but it is dishonest and unfair to customers committing to such a large payment not to discuss the cancellation policy with them on a completely new transaction. No matter how many times you fly on a plane the always go over the safety instructions. I hope FSY enjoys the $140 instead of my future business or glowing recommendation. I really hope every customer from here on out is made aware of the cancellation policy with each transaction and perhaps they can also train the staff to return a phone call once and a while.
