Our house was built in 1996. We bought it in 2004. The original builders did not install it to code. We had nothing but problem after expensive problems. At one point an unnamed company installed our motor backwards and we were without A/C in August for almost 2 days. Once the crackheads came back out and installed it correctly, I needed a company that would be reliable. Last summer our A/C stopped working AGAIN around 7 pm. We called a few companies who all said yes we can be there that night.. The first company to get there was One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating in about 2 hours. They told us that the primary circuit board was fried and they could replace it that night for $1100.00 which included the emergency & express rate. However if we signed up for the comfort club of $138.00 it would cover the other charges and the replacement out the door would be $1100.00PLUS it also covered 2 services a year along w/ put us on the priority list. He was there until 1 am fixing our A/C. So we became a customer of One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating.
We knew our system was a P.O.S but it is what it is. Finally we decided it was time to replace it. After negotiating the contract price a little, we got an okay price. It also helped us rebuild our credit and they installed it within 4 hours that same day! I don't have to worry about no A/C this summer and my power bill will go down about $75.00/mo. In these tough times, every dollar matters. You get what you pay for. Was it the best price?? No..was it the best service..YES! I hope it doesn't change and that we don't have the problems that I have read from others. I feel like I have piece of mind instead of a P.O.S..knowing that my A/C and Heating will work when it is needed. It's so quiet too. No more clunking sounds every time it turns on and off.
