I really wanted to like this place. Fresh, local fish is something we all could use more of. Like others, I took advantage of a Living Social deal where I spent $12 for $20 worth of seafood. Well, the fact is that $20 doesn't buy you much at this place. I know the adage that you get what you pay for.
I got a pound or so of shrimp and when I told them I had a Living Social deal they told me that there was a minimum purchase requirement of $25. I politely questioned this but the gentleman who helped me was confident when he told me that was the case. So, I had to get even more shrimp than I needed making the "deal" not really any deal at all. Turns out, according to a call to Living Social, there cannot be such a restriction. The store made me spend $5 more than necessary and should have known better. Perhaps this was an innocent mistake but I am troubled. The shrimp were OK for what they were, nothing epic though. I understand there is a market for this type of business. But I won't be back.
