  • This was my second time eating here 1st time was about a year earlier. I had the Brisket sandwich both times with a side of macaroni salad and cherry pie. The brisket was very good and I really liked the classic BBQ sauce. Macaroni salad and pie were also good. One thing I look forward to at BBQ places is a good sweet tea; however, both times I was disappointed in the tea, tasted terrible like it was tainted, so bad that I couldn't even drink it and poured it out. Not sure if It's their cleaning process or if it's non-filtered water but it was foul both time and a year apart. Tried the unsweetened tea and it was also weird. I had not come back in so long because of the disappointment in be tea, I was in the area though and remembered that he food was good so figured I would give it another chance. Don't think I will be returning again the tea being bad again. I think they have better food than their competitor Rudy's next door, but Rudy's knows how to do the tea right.
