  • Inexpensive Place for Lunch but you get what you pay for. We've lived in Cornelius for almost 19 years now and Dragon Buffet has been her for around the same time. It's a typical Chinese restaurrant and gives you the option of ordering off of the menu or going through the buffet. I would recommend staying with the menu. Most items on the buffet havee been there so long that they have become overcooked. The veggies have no crispness and are basically a mush. Price is cheap but again, you get what you pay for. The menu is also typical Cantonese and I've had a couple of the entrees. Unfortutunately nothing stands out but put enough soy sauce on it and it's edible. The rice however is very good and that's coming from someone who does not normally eat rice. Decor is typical faux Chinese but it's worn and a bit dated. Could use a touchup and bit of fresh paint. Service is adequate but not outstanding. It's enough to get buy. Even though it's one of the least expensive placesto eat in Cornelius, I would not recommend.
