  • Had a hankering for BBQ and was not motivated to go through the trouble of cooking it myself. It is allot of work! Decided to check out Midwood's based on reviews and how far the drive would be. My kiddos had the chicken fingers. I had the chicken and rib combo with a side of coleslaw and beans. Chicken was very tender. Ribs were meh. The meat was a bit tough and quite salty. The coleslaw was very good. Chopped finely and not too overbearing on the vinegar taste. Baked beans were meaty and the bbq was strong in it. The chicken tenders are good but overly breaded- according to the kids. Pecan cobbler was excellent. Decent dining with bar atmosphere. Perfect place to hangout or for drinks. Attentive waitstaff. Not sure if I will come back for the ribs. Maybe to try the salmon or have another warm slice of pecan cobbler.
