| - My experience in Labor and Delivery here was easy, well, now that I look back and not in major pain, it went by pretty quickly.
My nurse Stephanie was really warm, positive and helpful. She made me really feel comfortable and made me feel like I was a priority under her care, I was almost 6 cm when I arrived in the hospital, less than half an hour later, my water broke, I was then 8, then 10. I had to endure some horrific labor pains, everyone has to wait. I wanted my epi, I had to wait, I'm not sure how long I waited for, maybe a half hour for the epi to defrost. I received my epi, 10 min later the pain subsided, but u can still feel some pressure on my rectal area. By 10 something she had me push, she didn't let me push that long since my baby had meconium (she had age her fecal matter, which can be dangerous for the baby) about 20 min later, my Obgyn Dr. Henderson arrived, then I had my daughter out less than 5 minutes. Everyone in the delivery did a very good job. They were calm, which kept me calm.
Despite the scare, my daughter is fine and had passed all her tests.
I liked my experience here in this hospital.
Thank you to everyone who part-took with my daughters delivery. My life has slightly changed and I love it. I'm so in love with my daughter.
