I have a love hate relationship with Indigo books. I love Indigo because it's a giant book store, with lots of different books and is usually pretty busy. At the same time however, it's indigo books - when it comes to large retail book stores they are pretty much the game, they own Coles - Smith Books - Chapters - and Worlds biggest. This monopoly on bookstores disturbs me. On top of that they have successfully blocked competition from the market. They are like the Wal-Mart of Canadian bookstores.
I digress,Philosophical thoughts aside they are very good at what they do.. The people who work here are very helpful, they are usually very nice. It's laid out nicely, though the fact that they have covered all of their window ledges with books to prevent people from sitting is irritating. I suppose the fact that people would sit there and read entire books kind of sucked too though. I do almost always go in when I am in the Eaton Center, and probably will continue to do so.
