I'm up in the air about Tottie's. My partner and dined there Saturday night with much anticipation. Unfortunately we were somewhat let down.
We had eaten here previously when it was Shanghai Palace and the food and service were exceptional. Now that they've expanded they need to do some work to get their act together.
Our server was nice, but way overworked. Being very hungry we ordered and appetizer right away and were promptly informed it would take 15 minutes. That was okay and we were willing to wait. When 15 minutes turned into almost 45 minutes we weren't very happy.
After mentioning something to our server everything miraculously appeared. It was almost as if they were throwing the food at us. Again, it wasn't our servers fault she was helping out two people who had just started.
All in all the food was very good and I would have given it four-five stars if the service had been better. There's a wide variety of very good Asian food so don't hesitate to try Tottie's, just about anyone can find something to please their palate.
We will give Tottie's another try too, we just hope they can get their house in order to make for a more pleasant dining experience.
