  • So the story goes..............Girlfriend treats me to a weekend in Charleston for by BDay.....and in turn I thought it would be a good way to say thanks by treating her to a Manicure and Pedicure when we returned from the trip.......so why review.......well, lets just say I decided to check it out. Now I've seen NFL players do this (Oco Cinco does it in Cincinnati...weekly) as does other guys...so even that didn't make me feel a little out of place...particularly at the mall....it was Memorial Day weekend, so no one was open but these folks. An all Asian crew...they are fast and efficient and inexpensive based upon comments from my GF. I got a "mani/pedi" as it was called and began with having my feet soaked, then trimmed, then massaged then bathed in lotion...not bad...felt good...I was sitting in this chair that did everything a cheap hooker would do for $25....except the dirty stuff of course. Next were my hands...a. little massage, then lotion in plastic bags and put in hand warmers.....then a trim of the nails and polish....then a massage of my lower arm....all and all not bad. Though I have to say my nails were not even looking....but as for a straight guy....they look great! Cost $40...not bad...the GF got polish on her toes...and a nice little way to relax for a Saturday. I heard guys come in there all the time........never saw one the entire time *grin*.
