Two things diminished my view of the experience I had with Eagle Rider:
1. The bike I reserved (BMW R1200) showed a backrest on the website - which is a primary reason I selected the bike because my wife feels very insecure riding without one. When I arrived to pick the bike I paid for up - no backrest!!
2. The agent who checked me out (Ricky) was seemed completely disinterested in fixing the situation for me - even after I explained I'd chosen the bike because it was pictured with a backrest because of my wife. He mumbled something about that "being an extra accessory to add on." I asked if he'd add it on - it's not available". I asked if he'd switch me to a bike with a backrest in the same or even lower price class (there were severa parked on the floors around it). "Those are al going out in a couple days". I told him, I'll be back tomorrow afternoon. "Sorry, they're going out in a couple days." Sure enough, the bikes with backrest were still sittingthere when I returned the next afternoon.
As Ricky checked me back out, he said, "come back again - we'll take good care of you." Based on this experience, I have little confidence in the willingness of Eagle Rider being willing to do much beyond collecting payment for gear misrepresentated on their website with employees who seem more interested in leaving for the day than trying to actually "take care of people."
