| - I needed a new pair of shoes to work out in, play volleyball in the grass with, and to kayak in. And I wanted to do this in one pair of shoes. Impossible? No, just have to get used to having my toes in a pair of Five Finger shoes.
Went to Runner's Den, and they got me dialed in pretty quickly. I am only knocking them one star for having to sit there for 20 minutes until the salesman who took care of me realized that the geriatric he was tending to was going to take more than her sweet time picking out a pair of shoes.
I knew what I wanted, I knew roughly the size, and I wanted to get to the gym.
He got me taken care of in under five minutes. The senior citizen with decision making constipation was audibly and visibly offended by the fact this guy took the two seconds in comparison to take care of me, which put a smile on my face as I don't like old people who take too goddamn long to make a choice.
Price was exactly where it should be, which is rare in these sort of niche shops. Once they got me taken care of I was out the door in five minutes, which is what saved this review.
If you go in, understand it seems to be company policy to only let the shoe salespeople deal with one customer at a time. While the attention to detail is an interesting concept, its inefficient, and will cause longer than natural wait times. So go patient, especially when the parking lot is full.
