  • The Adelaide Club offers a health facility for a corporate clientele by locating itself in the PATH. It holds a prestigious appeal in presentation. The service is not anything more than the regular gyms I have been in the past. You can check the schedules online at anytime - which is a neat feature. Came here upon a referral. After making an appointment, I got a week pass with a little chit chat. During the free trial , you can book any of the extras spinning, squash etc - which is normally an additional $10 the a standard membership. The monthly memberships range from $60-80and up. The machines looked pretty standard. In the tour, I felt it to be a bit of a maze with all the little rooms for the extra classes. The workout region where all the machines are is of no special mention. It can easily fit about 12 people comfortably. The bathrooms are spacious and fully equipped with straighteners, blow dryers and curlers. There is a steam room that is of a considerable size in the same section as the shower stalls. The convenient architecture allows the member to have access to several parts of the gym from the change room. While the towel service is efficiently well stocked, I found them to be of poor quality. The spa section is separated from the gym by a hall and didn't seem to have anything special except the convenience of availability within the vicinity. I'm not a fan of gyms. I usually come to play squash. Once I walk into a court, I could care less how fancy the overall gym is. Because in the end, all squash courts look the same inside. xoxo M.
