Here is a recap of our meal: my filet with lump crab was ordered medium rare and it came well done. My son's bone-in steak was also ordered medium rare and came well done to the point that it was black on the outside. Also it was half the thickness that the same order is served him in locations in CA. My wife's order of two lobster tails was fine for the first tail and the second tail was raw inside. After getting it back it was still raw. My daughter's boyfriend's prime rib was indeed as he asked for but it was again half the thickness as the other Flemings places. My daughter ordered the short ribS. There was one rib. We also all noticed that the sides were MUCH smaller than the same sides in CA. Maybe Chef was running low on food...I'd rather be told that the kitchen was out of what I wanted than to be served a tiny portion and then be charged the full price. My first manhattan was watery and had little taste. My second one was much better. When paying that much for food and drink I expect things to be better.
We appreciated not having to pay for that food Sunday and I hope that the waiter knew that we didn't blame him. There was a young woman that was clearing things from the table and when I told her that my wife's lobster was still raw she grabbed the plate from my hand and almost hit me with it when she left the table. I emailed the manager and received NO answer; only the comp of the meal and some gift cards to return there and a promise that things will be perfect the next time. I'm supposed to email her and tell her when we'll be there. I doubt that she cares.
