| - My wife's IPhone dies as soon as she unplugs it. We went in and they said we had to make an appt with the geniuses. She told them it was the battery (she had already been researching it), but they said it could be a number of things and told her it was an hour and half wait.
After two hours, we asked how much longer it would be and they said they couldn't tell us. We asked if we could leave the phone there so we could go to Blanco's (taco restaurant next door) and they said no, but they said we could go over there and eat and if our turn came up we could just run it over, fill out the paperwork, and then leave the phone.
We ordered and then they sent me a text, I ran the phone over and then they told me I couldn't leave the phone there and would have to wait. My wife left the restaurant and came over (she's more confrontational lol), and instead of apologizing for giving us wrong info, they were rude to her. They ended up giving me the phone back and said the battery was dead, which is what my wife told them, and it would cost $260 to repair it. She can buy a new phone for that price. We just left.
If they would have taken the time to talk to us in the beginning and told us how much the battery was, we wouldn't have even wasted our time. To top it off, half the staff stands around with nothing to do while there is a 2 hour wait to talk to a "genius". Very frustrating experience, poor customer service, not even the slightest bit apologetic.
