We came here because my boyfriend has eaten here in the past (years ago) and had really liked it. This time not so much.
We arrived and because we had no reservation had a 30 minute wait, which was fine. When seated it was a cramped little area where by me sitting it left no space for anyone to walk behind me and they'd have to go around a section of the dining area.
Water served was just barely cooler than room temperature and we had to ask for ice. When tea was served my BF asked for some sugar and they seemed shocked, they don't have sugar in packets so brought a little dish with sugar and then no spoon or stirrer so he used his chopsticks to stir tea.
Our server didn't come around very often, we had to flag her down for refill or anything else.
The food itself was fine but nothing spectacular for the $101 bill. The cucumber salad was a disappointment with the cucumbers texture being odd, not enough dressing/seasoning and no sesame seeds like in other places so it needed something for the texture . Everything else was mediocre for the level you'd expect .
It wasn't any better that the people seated behind us had a conversation loudly about the girl's Botox, her pedicures, her feet, and then the man breaking down their bill discussing every item listed and its cost down to the penny. We won't be back.
