| - I love Hubcap Annie! I got new tires on the car last weekend and didn't want to put the ugly, scratched silvertone old hubcaps back on. I was looking for black hubcaps at a good price and had been to Hubcap Annie with our last car, so I called and talked to Dave. He's a great guy - he said he'd sell me the one set of 15" black hubcaps they had for $60, installed. I told Dave I'd be right over! When I got there, we found that the black hubcaps had a red pinstripe border and wouldn't have looked good on my Alien Green Kia Soul. He then offered to have the red stripe painted over in black, which would have been fine, except these were snap-on style hubcaps. I was worried they'd pop off and get lost like on my last car since I have a tendency to take corners a little fast :-p.
The existing hubcaps were on with lug nuts so Dave offered to sand and paint those black for the same price and could do it right then. I went for it and was not disappointed! James, who is very tall and could look very intimidating, is a sweetheart of a guy and does amazing work. By the time he was done, I didn't recognize my own hubcaps when he showed one of them to me! He also painted the rims on the tires so the dusty black was covered up. When it was all done, I was thrilled. My car has a new sporty look, and I give all the credit to James and Dave at Hubcap Annie! I got 4 brand new tires that day, along with new (old) hubcaps for a total price just under $400. But the new look of my 2013 Kia Soul is priceless (and kinda badass)!!
Thanks, Dave and James! You guys are awesome and have a customer for life.
