My finace's and my experience at The Asbury was lack luster and mediocre at best. For the price and location, we expected much better food, tastes and drinks.
We are not picky eaters at all, we absolutely love food anywhere and all the time. I ordered the New Fashioned cocktail and it tasted like watered-down whiskey. The pumpkin bisque tasted like water, lacking seasonings and salt. The biggest disappointment was the lamb heart and carrots. Our server failed to explain that this dish was cold, shaved lamb with raw carrots. I suggest you do not order it.
As for the entree, we ordered pork cheeks. These were tender and supposed to come with a "sweet potato casserole" - which proved to be sliced cooked sweet potatoes with a meringue. However, you foodies, the meringue was not luscious and delicious as imagined, it is only a crumbled up meringue cookie.
All in all we will not be returning - don't waste your time or money.
