  • WARNING DO NOT MOVE HERE! I moved in here about two and a half years ago. Every six months the jacked up the rates which I understand is normal. I was looking to move out and to no avail I was unable to find somewhere. I talked to the front desk about extending my lease and they informed me a couple had reserved my apartment but I could move into another apartment in the same building a level lower. I asked if the other couple could just take that one because that would be easier and the answer was simply no. I was just about to resign and move to the lower apartment when Mountain Gate informed me I would have to put down the deposits AGAIN. I was confused because I was staying, just moving apartments. They said no. Not only were they keeping my deposits, charging me over $200 more than what I initially signed for, AND they wanted another set of deposits. My mother in law is currently living there and wants to move. They have raised the rates so much she is paying over a 1000 for a one bedroom! They do not value the tenants that want to stay. They want you to pay a ridiculous amount or get you to move so they can take your deposits and move on to the next person they can rip off! DO NOT MOVE HERE!
