Went in to look at booties and I tried on 2 pairs that weren't really the style I prefer (black, minimalist, toe that's more on the round side than pointy). I tried on 2 pairs but they were more cowboy-stye (which is cute on some people but just not my thing).
There was a male employee working there and the conversation started out pleasant enough. I told him I didn't like the 2 boots and describes what I preferred. When he realized I wasn't going to buy those shoes he was really rude to me and told me what I was looking for wasn't in style... and essentially he insulted me then expected me to change my mind and buy the boots I had tried on. I wanted to buy boots that day and I would have tried on more but I ended up just leaving the store because I was offended and uncomfortable.
I've gone out of my way to avoid this store, but also Aldo in general since this incident.
