I came here on a Thursday afternoon with a friend, the place was empty so just the two of us in the whole room. The service was just ok and the food wasn't very good. Usually at high tea places they bring out their tea selection so that we can see and smell the teas before choosing one, but that didn't happen. The food came out and the tea biscuits were cold, the butter was extremely hard and the other two spreads were not fresh and you can tell it has been left out for a long period of time. The selection of food for high tea was lacking (two types of tea biscuits) and a mini quiche for the bottom tier.Middle tier had 3 types of cold sandwiches, a salmon croissant, and the dessert selection was just lacking. Feels like the menu is just bought from bulk somewhere and just gets thrown on a dish. Come time to ask for the bill, we had quite some trouble. The two waiters were in deep conversation we tried to get there attention multiple times and just gave up. Thus we had to get up and go to them directly to ask for the bill. I usually find high tea to be enjoyable and relaxing but this time I was not very happy about my experience.
