  • Ruined my birthday I ordered a cake a week ahead of time for my birthday. Me and my girlfriend picked out a basketball themed cake that looked alright but not that great but I'm not too picky so I settled for it. On the day of my birthday the baker calls me telling me he doesnt have the design for my cake ready and that I needed to choose a new design. I tried to work with him and told him if he could make a design similiar to a picture i could text him since the design i wanted was the only one i liked in his book. He said he doesnt make custom designs and only makes the designs that are in his little book at the store. Well apparently they dont even make those. He said it was UPS's fault because they didnt mail some of the design to him but thats not my problem or fault. He was completely unprofessional and didnt even care that he messed up my birthday. He showed no sign that he was sorry even though he was the exact guy that I made the cake order with. The cakes they have already made at the bakery taste great. They are awesome at tres leches but if you want a freshly made cake or a design other than the ones you already see on the shelf then go somewhere else. Dont let this bakery ruin your birthday like it ruined mine. He didnt even want to refund the money at first. He tried to say he already made the cake even though it didnt have the design we wanted. But after talking to him for a while he agreed to refund my money but he ruined my bday cause now i have to spend a few hours on my birthday looking for a cake. Im outraged. I will never ever go here again.
