Decided to try out this new Dunkin location after having some amazing Arizona Donut Co. donuts last week. I walked in and was greeted by a sign advertising the new Reese's bar. Mmm that looked good. There was also a graphic for a new croissant apple donut that also looked good. I asked about the Reese bar since I wanted to see it--apparently the baker was late and none of these had been made yet (from the sounds of things they fry frozen donuts back there?! ugh). So I got a dozen donuts and decided to add on a $2.49 croissant donut with the yummy looking apple filling. The whole time I was there, the two ladies working there seemed annoyed I even existed--one was especially abrupt with me and bordering on rude and annoyed when I didn't identify whether I wanted the chocolate or the maple long john (she was standing in front of them, so I had no idea there were two there--again, some donuts missing because the baker was reportedly late). So anyways, I get a bag thrown at me with a single pathetic looking donut and I had to ask what it was since it looked nothing like the picture...(when I bit into it and found it was pretty much devoid of the yummy looking apple filling, I was not only further confused but felt totally ripped off.) I had to ask what it was, which seemed to further annoy the lady behind the counter (receipt said her name was Andrea). I left, feeling like I had been an unwelcome guest at what ended up being kind of a crappy party, anyways. Even if the donuts were good (meh) or came close to my usual haunt (nope), I wouldn't go back. I have to think that if the staff are THAT miserable working there, it's not a business I want to support.
