  • Well this review is late in getting posted. December 23rd I had an appointment for my 14 year old Shitzu / Yorkie mix baby, and my 15 year old Lasha Alpso . I had previously brought my dogs here 2 times when Jen was the owner. After3 hours of waiting I call and speak to the owner and they say 30 more minutes. I call thirty minutes later and they say there is a problem. She tells me the groomer was using a de-matting tool on my Shitzu mix dogs tail and cut it pretty bad and it wouldn't stop bleeding! I said call your insurance I am coming to pick up my dogs and take to the animal hospital. Long story short my baby had her tail mutilated by this groomer, mind you these dogs are groomed very 4 weeks. We had to schedule surgery for Christmas Eve to amputate 3 1/2 inches of her tail! My vet said that the groomer had cut though her vertabrae and main artery. My angel would be fine but would have to be watched closely as she has other health issues that impair her healing. The owner was in contact constantly and had given her credit card to my vet to pay for all the doctor bills. Never the less our pup was miserable from the surgery and we were totally stressed out during Christmas holidays. Whatever this tool is should not be used! Especially by people that don't know how to use it. A nightmare for the next 4 weeks.
