  • I ordered a custom $175 birthday cake to serve 40 people 10 days in advance. We had two calls to discuss the options. I had to drop off 4 beer bottles a week prior and paid in full. I Received a call morning of that they made the wrong size. I called prior to leaving my house in wexford to confirm that the smaller cake was at least done and was told it was . Arrived to pick up, learned there was another issue with there being string in the ice (choking hazard!!) and they could try to pull out the string. Why didn't you do this hours ago?!?! I declined, ended up waiting over 45 minutes total from my arrival for them to bring it out. It was the wrong color, wrong size and I am not at all satisfied. They ended up refunding $40 from my order. So I spent $135 on a cake that was not at all what I wanted. Sorry- this was my one and only visit to bethel bakery. Not impressed!!!
