  • First of all - to the management, can it with the sarcastic review responses on the Google reviews site. Insulting your customers is not good business, and just makes you sound like a bunch of a-holes. I almost didn't go to Muddy Waters after finding it on Google, reading the reviews and the jerks representing your restaurant who responded. Grow up. THAT BEING SAID... It is a quite small oyster bar + restaurant in Pittsburgh. Yes, you will pay more (ironically) than even Manhattan, but the oysters I had were quite high quality and the ambience is nice. Plan on $50 min per person, and most of the oysters are $3 each, so not a bargain by any stretch. The oyster po' boy is great, and the burger is also quite large and satisfying despite being around $14. Waitstaff was friendly but not overly attentive, but for a leisurely meal doesn't matter! I recommend for a special occasion, or just a nice evening splurge. Weekends will be packed, so make reservations or go at non-peak times. Their social media team needs to be fired.
