  • I wish that I also had read these reviews before I used them. They called me in response to an internet feeler I put out regarding a book collection I had in storage in Az which I wanted shipped to Florida. Hayley from their sales dept was very Arizona smooth and sales polished-quite charming, in fact. When she gave me an estimate I should have detected something right away, as she made a big overcalculation on using a credit card charge of 5%-which she did tell me about in advance-and then corrected a $400 to $29 telling me math was one of her worst subjects but after all, this is a family business..... The trouble started when the pickup was made. I had a friend supervising who said the movers did well, but that I'd have to be charged another $69 as they had to rebox something that was falling apart. The mover ,however called me when I was driving, and refused to let me off the phone while he rattled off a lot of questions because he was not provided anything but the address it was to go to which I had to spell for him three times. I had to get him off the phone in order to avoid an accident, as my bluetooth was not working and I was taking a risk holding the cell in one hand while driving with the other. At that point, I found out about the 21 days. I work during the week and told them I was only available on Saturday. Next day, I got an email from "Amanda", stating that they never got a credit card authorization I had sent them. Then it was found, but they wanted it refaxed because the drivers lic information was fuzzy and they couldn't read the credit card number. As I can't fax from where I work, and I had to run around my work neighborhood looking for one, I refused to refax. Luckily, Ty did help straighten this one out. Amanda then emailed me that mover would call one day in advance of moving. I wanted more of a heads-up, and she wrote back that she would tell me if she heard of anything. Nothing further from her.. Now fast forward almost three weeks later to two nights ago. I get a call at 5:30 PMish from the mover who wanted to deliver next day. As he wanted the balance in cash or postal money order, there was no way I could get it, especially as he wanted to deliver early next morning. I suggested Friday morning as this would give me time to get to the bank. He told me he was not available until early next year. He then said he would call the office to let them know so that they could make other arrangements. I emailed the office today, the next day. They answered back in late afternoon. Turns out they had to call him as he didn't call them. They then told me that he stated I had refused delivery, and now he was available on Friday-after he told me he wouldn't be-and that I now had to pay $200 extra. If I couldn't make it on Friday, they would charge me $350 on top of that if they had to deliver next year. So that is the story up to now. I told them I would have to leave work early on Friday to be there in the afternoon-at least that gave me time to get the money he wanted at lunch. But I told them, and I maintain, that I would fight for the extra $200 back. I have tried to get to that driver, and they said they would call him to let him know I was available. He has not called back. The experience with these people is one of legal extortion. And considering what Arizona is, they are in the right place for it. I am glad I am in Fla.
