| - This is a long, overdue review. Upon a bad experience at another veterinarian clinic, my family was in search for an honest and reliable veterinarian for our two fur babies. The initial visit was regarding a bladder stone in my Maltese-mix rescue dog. Another clinic told us that she needed immediate surgery that would cost thousands of dollars; however, upon researching the ailment, I wanted to get a second opinion. Dr. Anast prescribed her a prescription dog food for bladder stones and scheduled a follow-up visit to ensure that they had dissolved. It has been over four years since and she is better than ever! Another incident happened when my elderly Bichon Frise showed symptoms of a stroke. We were almost certain that we were going to have to put him down; however, it has been almost six months and he has regained his strength. We received follow-up calls on his status during the two nights that he had to stay in the hospital, which helped to put us at ease. In addition to the emergencies, we have also taken our pets here for their vaccinations and annual check-ups. I recently adopted a tuxedo kitten and he has received all of his vaccines, was neutered here, and had his check-ups. Due to the fact that he was a stray kitten, he had an upper respiratory infection. Dr. Anast was honest and said that it was common in kittens that it would clear up in a few weeks. I was anxious at first; however, he is now almost a year old and is doing great (his infection did clear up without any medication like the doctor said). You can certainly tell that everyone at this clinic loves animals and want the best for them. Both of the doctors are so knowledgeable! I'm so happy that I have found a great doctor for all of my little furry friends!
