Overall Aiello's was an enjoyable dining experience. I loved the atmosphere (it has a finer dining feel), and the owner was hilarious.
"Why the three stars then?" you may ask. Well to me it comes down to the food. And as 3 stars suggests the food was "A-OK!" It was good, but not excellent. Aiello's has a little more heavy, American kind of Italian. If you like that, then you will love this place...so read on and start salivating!
The Pesto Gnocchi had great flavors but the pesto was too creamy and there was way to much in the bowl. The Eggplant Parmesan was really cheesy- nice flavors, but the cheesy made it a heavier dish. The Butternut Squash Ravioli was amazing, and my favorite that our party ordered. The tiramisu was delicious but just because you are an Italian restaurant, that doesn't mean you can serve regular ice cream and call it gelato.
I'd like to go back and try the pizza and crack some more jokes with the owner Joe, but in the end I'll be looking for pasta dishes somewhere else in the valley.
