  • Wow! Just WOW. We decided to try this place after reading reviews here on Yelp and we were SO not disappointed. What a GEM! First, let me say that the smell that hits you as you first open the door is almost magical. Being the little cupcake obsessed person that I am, I can say that I have walked into many a bakery but none of them smell as wonderful as this place. They had me at first sniff. It's not a huge shop, which is great because it feels very comfortable. The decor is so beautiful. As you walk in to the left, there's a few places to sit so you can enjoy your treat. To your right, there's a beautiful vintage looking shelf structure with an assortment of baking tools, rock sugar, different flavored popcorn(the very pretty Berries and Cream was delicious) and other little pastel colored treasures and treats. It really is all appealing to look at. You're eyes just dance around... The employees always greet you with a smile and let me say, are very patient when you're standing there trying to figure out which of the many, many cupcake flavors you want to try. They always have at least 5-6 flavors to choose from(Cookie Dough, Fairy-Fetti, Peanut Butter Cup...they even had a fall flavor 2 weeks ago. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip), and on top of that sugar cookies, and these little cake bite truffles. I even saw a gluten free option in the case, if I'm remembering correctly. All the flavors are appealing. The cupcakes, cookies, and truffles are all super good. I don't know what it is about the icing but even my husband who is not a fan of icing ate his whole cupcake. The cake part itself was moist and super flavorful. It actually tastes like the flavor you pick. Some cupcake places have cupcakes that all kind of taste like the same thing. Generic cupcake and icing flavors. This place doesn't. Each uniquely flavored cupcake tastes like it should. Ahhhhmazing. I know why this place won Cupcakes Wars! I haven't seen the episode they won, but I want to check it out!
