  • My husband's Jeep Wrangler had an engine light come on, and we took it to the dealer in the Centennial area to have it evaluated. The mechanic at the dealer explained his diagnosis. He stated we needed a new fuel tank, and the hose on the fuel tank was cracked, and they needed to replace the entire fuel tank. After getting a quote of roughly $2,000 dollars for the replacement and labor - I decided it would be worth having a second opinion. We were then charged $150 buckaroos (over priced diagnostics in my opinion) for the inspection and mechanics opinion and were on our way--on my way to some serious research to find an honest mechanic that could either confirm or deny the suggested fix from the dealer mentioned above. I read hundreds of reviews from various shops and we ended up choosing Zip Zap to provide a second opinion. My husband made an appointment and dropped his jeep off. Two hours later, we were provided with different diagnosis. We authorized the repair and added a manual transmission fluid change. His prices were extremely fair, and he was in consistent communication with us to keep our minds at ease. We will definitely be return customers-- in the end he saved us over $1,200+ from the jacked up dealer experience -- frankly, I'm disgusted with what the dealer incorrectly told us and tried to charge! This just proves a second opinion is worth it. My husband already took a stack of his cards and is handing them out. It is hard to find a trustworthy, honest, and reliable mechanic. We've struck gold with ZipZap!
