rev:text	Second City!! This is where comedy legends were born! Dan Aykroyd, John Candy, Catherine O'Hara, oh yeah and Rick Moranis! SCTV was born from this very hallowed ground! It's emotional stuff I tell ya! So we went to the Mainstage for "Live Wrong and Prosper." The show is good, I mean really really good. It's well written piece of comedy. We had our ticket in advance so we bypassed the line, but a little bit of line up on a Thursday evening. So this show actually mixes sketch comedy with improv, which I thought was very well thought out. 6 cast members, 3 men and 3 women. The cast had great chemistry together and clearly they were having so much fun performing. That really comforted the audience. Can't go wrong right? This one particular sketch was very witty and it was each cast member personifying a European Country and their reaction to the Euro Trouble with Greece. Topical and funny! There were many great moments but my favourite improv portion was the "Pick a Page, Pick a Page" segment. So the 3 women came up together and ask the audience to pick a page, someone says, 7! then one lady says something incredibly hilarious about what's on that page. And vice-versa for the men. You can see clearly that they are very talented and super quick on their feet. Watching good improv is like watching magic! The drinks were moderately priced, $5~6 for a bottle of beer, we didn't eat here because we came straight from dinner. If you want to LOL and ROFL for couple of hours after work, I highly recommend this show!! Saw one of the female cast members at the Dumpling House Restaurant on Spadina, how funny is that?
