  • I had an hour to kill before taking a friend to the airport for his redeye flight so I decided to grab a quick bite. I sat at the counter at Cafe 24/7 and order a shrimp poboy sandwich around 1015pm and a to-go order of eggs benedict. To my disappointment, my food took over 45 mins. A shrimp poboy sandwich and fries takes that long to make on a Tuesday night? You would have guessed they sailed some ship and casted large nets for shrimp. I had to leave and asked for my order to go along with my eggs benedict that I requested around 1030pm. I left with my order at 1115pm. Once I got home, I open my styrofoam box looking to heat up my food finding a long thin black hair in my order. That's disgusting! I know mistakes happen but an hour for your food and then coming home starving to find unexpected protein in your meal. I am apalled by the quality and deliverance of the meal and management really needs to accessed the productivity of their staff. Additionally, you will not get any type of cell coverage sitting in this restaurant. That in itself needs immediate attention as you can't contact any one who may need to find you.
