| - We stayed here in 1/1/16 just for one night for a last minute trip. We wanted to be within close proximity to the MGM Grand so this was a perfect location and I got a good deal on Vegas.com considering it was Friday and New Years Day at that.
This was our first time staying here, we'd only just played here on previous trips to Vegas and while their casino is on the smaller side I like that it's vibrant and bright, not so dark and dreary like most other casinos.
We checked our baggage, as we arrived pretty early before check-in but when we came back at about 3:30pm it didn't take too long to check in. Robert was very friendly and checked us in quickly and called bell service to have our bags sent up, said it might take about 15-20 minutes but it didn't take long at all.
Our room was in the infamous Club Tower which yes, is a bit of a walk from the casino though I thought it was going to be a lot farther from the reviews I read on here, it wasn't too far but I imagine after a long night of partying it might seem farther LOL.
Room 1766 was nice, clean and we were pretty close to the elevators. We did get a nice view of the airport and wondered how well we were going to sleep that night but turned out to not be a problem at all, airport noise actually helped us sleep although we heard no sirens so can't comment on that.
We'd stay here again, we happen to like it's location as it's at the end of the strip we prefer to frequent when we come to Vegas. The walk to MGM was really close and that's what we wanted when we booked.
The only downsides for us were the casino was very hot the night we stayed and the toilet in our room randomly ran here and there. Also the restaurant selection was ehhh but they did have a Starbucks downstairs which is always a plus.
I'd also like to give a thumbs up to the Valets, Gus especially, I called down to see about getting my glasses case I left in the car and Gus had them waiting for me at the desk rather quickly I might add. I only had my prescription sunglasses on so it was a relief to have my glasses once the sun started going down LOL.
