  • Even though this man made beach was opened a while ago it's stood the test of time. There are better hotels out there, but not better beaches. Plus in my opinion if you're going to pay a mandatory resort fee at least you know you're getting something for staying here. The wave pool is awesome and the lazy river has a nice current going through it, but it is a lot more fun with a tube. Sure there are a lot of kids here, but Las Vegas has become much more kid friendly so expect it at most places. The employees are friendly here and there's enough to do to make staying at Mandalay a destination in itself. I hope this mid-priced hotel doesn't make any major adjustments.
