  • I discovered Oakmont Bakery, while on the hunt for cronuts, or as Oakmont Bakery calls it, doughsants! The place was kind of overwhelming when we first arrived. Tons of people, a huge display of all types of pastries and baked goods that ran down the very long storefront. But after we stopped drooling, we grabbed a number and were pleasantly surprised by the quick service! We only tried the doughsants and a macaroon, but both were good! The bakery definitely has a local flair. I would definitely want to come back and try all the other goodies! For the dougsant specifically, it's a good donut, but I wouldn't say it's the best cronut/doughsant I've ever had. It could use with more flaky croissant-ness.
