  • When we walked in, we waited at the door several minutes before we were even acknowledged. The severs kept walking by us but never said "hello", "welcome" or "we will be right with you". Finally the only male server told us to "just sit at any open table" as he literally tossed dirty dishes into a bus pan. 808 Sushi looked like it was the last place he wanted to be. Ever sake we ordered, the container was filled about ¾ full, not entirely full. The female busser, in between helping to serve, emptied the trash and kept sweeping the floor but she never washed her hands afterward. Disgusting! The male server kept talking breaks during service to go outside on the patio to smoke his cigar, but when he came back in, he started serving again without washing his hands.The sushi is very good but the service is slow. If I do ever decide to go back to 808,I will sit at the sushi bar, the service seems to be better and the sushi chefs don't leave during service to smoke cigars, empty trash and sweep the floor.
