  • Not the most customer focused dealership but great prices. Had a very easy transaction and a very good price on the vehicle we bought. Spent a lot of time waiting though and the customer service was a bit subpar. We worked hard to save up the money we did to pay cash for our car and it was a big deal to our family but they could really care less and even made a comment about the features with "these older cars" and it was a 2013. We had to chase down our salesman a couple times to get more information on something as well. This was a big deal for our family and they didn't seem to care too much about that and just wanted to finish the sale and move on. I would give a lower score but the no haggle pricing is awesome, the salesman did drive us to Tempe to look at a couple other options, and their 250 mile 3 day return policy is nice. I would only go back if I found a vehicle there in the future at the lowest price but if I found a similarly priced vehicle elsewhere I don't think I would choose Autonation Honda Chandler. UPDATE: I wanted to update this review because I am having to drop the rating I previously gave. They advised that their used vehicles pass some kind of detailed multifaceted inspection process before being put on the lot. We purchased our 2013 vehicle only a couple days ago yet already have issues with it. Being rushed by the salesman, and with it being hot out, we didn't rev the vehicle with the A/C off so we missed it but the engine makes rattle/buzzing noises when revving. This wasn't noticed until now. We also have a turn signal out which we thought would just be a burnt out bulb but it is actually some type of electrical issue that needs to be fixed. I can't believe this vehicle got passed any kind of inspection process. And now I have to try to figure out how to fix it. We were so excited to finally get the car we worked so hard to save up and pay cash for, trusted the dealer being that they are a big organization, but only ended up walking away with more problems. I am now out of luck and trying to figure out what to do because it is a used vehicle with no warranty. Please beware, their inspection process is apparently subpar and they will sell you a vehicle without really caring to go through it with you. I am blown away by the churn and burn service here. I had hoped so desperately that we had found a new go to dealership for purchases and service. UPDATE: Received a response following post about a week later advising to call the GM to talk about the issue. Spoke with the GM, Mark, who asked what my issues were (kind of figured they would know about this but review reply to contact GM must of been just a cookie cutter response). Advised GM of customer service issue and mechanical issue even though the vehicle had what they refer to as a "strenuous" inspection. He didn't address the customer service issue at all and didn't even care to get my info on what happened, just said that we could bring the vehicle in to get the turn signal fixed for free and nothing about the engine sound. Advised I already fixed it all at Earnhardt Honda because I concerned they may miss something again and I am on the other side of town. To which he chuckled a bit and advised that he was glad we got it all resolved. So no real attempt to make amends for the poor experience beyond "we can fix your blinker". Just some contact a week plus after the sale advising broken turn signals are a safety issue and they don't put that stuff on their lot. Granted it was a tech that missed these issues not the sales or GM staff. But ended up being more put off more by the GM than anyone else by the very lacking attempt to even sincerely apologize about our experience. Just be aware they are a volume dealership and if you want a new car for a good price via the fastest experience possible they may work fine. If you are looking for a bit more customer service, a quality used car that won't need immediate work, and a decent service department, then you may want to look elsewhere. It's unfortunate.
