  • I moved to The Croix in the summer of 2008 and thought this would be a nice new community to live in for a single woman alone. I was wrong. The townhouse was new and the floorplan really nice but the entire complex went downhill fast. Dog doo all over the common areas. Exterior windows were never washed and I lived there for 18 months. The security gates did not operate until I was there for 8 months. Office personnel had a "don't care" attitude. I paid my rent on time every month and left the apartment clean. Even though I did not own a dog they thought upon ove out that there was dog hair and charged me a dog fee after I moved out so now I am fighting with an outsource company about this. They had a lot of people that could not afford the rent and they had to evicte them but then they had good tenets like me who they didn't treat well. Stay away from The Croix.
