  • Being that this restaurant is so close to work and I've repeatedly heard glowing reviews on their food, I've given them three tries. Thus, I've had three disappointing experiences. My first time there, the food was okay. The service was okay. Just okay. The atmosphere is kind of weird. Everyone orders from the bar (which can bottleneck things) and it's so loud it's sometimes hard to accomplish that feat. The seating is crowded and uncomfortable. The place is dim and dreary. Admittedly, my second trip was with a larger group (7 people) during lunch rush. I don't expect the fastest of service under these conditions, but not getting our food for an hour and a half was a little extreme. The food was cold but tasted well enough. Nothing mind blowing. My sandwich was haphazardly thrown on a plate and I had to put it together myself when my server brought it out. Other members of my party had food that was inedible. Charred beyond recognition or raw. My final trip, I showed up a little before 11:00 am. Thankfully, it was not busy yet because it took over an hour to get my salad... Which was greasy. I can't even ponder how you go about making a salad greasy. We had waited so long to get our food yet again, I just left without asking for the situation to be fixed. So I guess if you drink beer, go have a blast trying to talk to your friends by screaming at the top of your lungs. If you want lunch? Go somewhere else.
