  • We go here several times a year and are continually amazed by the flavor profiles and creativity with which Rancho endows standard dishes. That hasn't changed. But ... Prices are higher and have begun to affect the value proposition. And I was not pleased when the server refused my request to make a half portion of the Gnocci as an appetiser (it used to be on the appetiser menu, and was their best in that category). It's pasta! You should be able to make a half portion. And the scallops were somewhat sandy. Don't make me hunt for a new #1 restaurant in Scottsdale, Rancho. It would just be too sad.
