I ordered a phone online from work and went to pick it up. Unfortunately I've lost my license and have a paper copy from the DMV. The manager said they couldn't accept a paper copy. I made an extra trip leaving work at lunch to give them my business. I can understand the policy but the manager didn't even attempt to sympathize with me or call corporate. They said that's the policy and shuffled me out the door. I've been with Verizon 15 years now and their customer service has gone to shit because they're making so much money. That's how they made me feel in store. It also goes to show that they don't trust these little kids with no education or customer service running the store to make an executive decision. I'm not under contract so they may have saved me some money, I will now shop other carriers. I will also be telling everyone within earshot what a shitty experience I had.
